I typically work with nylon hair from dollyhair.com. When ordering a custom pony, you have a couple options for selecting hair colors:
- Select a general color (like red) and let me choose how to fill it.
This will result in me picking the shades of red (or other chosen color) that I feel best fit the design. You will be charged for the number of general colors you choose, not the number I actually use.
For example: If you say you want red hair and I blend 3 shades of red, you will be charged for one hair color. If you say you want red hair and green hair, you will be charged for 2 colors, even if you want it blended. - Select exact colors from the listing on dollyhair.com. To do this, you should visit the website and browse their selection of nylon colors; then list the exact name of the color (or colors) you want me to use on your order form.
If you want more than one hair color, please be sure to specify how you want it to look. True stripes are different than a blend. Stripes will be large blocks of color in the mane. A blend is where each plug is a different color (and sometimes it is combined within plugs, depending on the look I am trying to achieve). As an example, the pony below has two blue stripes and one white stripe. However, the blue stripes are a blend of two shades of blue.
