This pony was made for Elvenwine26 at the MLP Arena as part of the Fairy Swap in January 2009. Elvenwine said she wanted a dark fairy or an elemental fairy. I saw someplace that one of her favorite colors was teal, and so I thought, "Why not do both?"
Thus was this girl born. She got a full body repaint in the image of a reverse fire elemental with Vallejo acrylics. She is sealed with Vallejo satin varnish. Her hair is Atomic Turquoise, Bobby Blue, and After Midnight nylon from dollyhair.com. Her wings are feathers glued to stencil template and held into her body with wire and apoxie sculpt. You can't really tell in the pictures, but they are two colors of blue.
She wears a necklace with a silver triangle pendant on it that I sculpted out of apoxie sculpt and painted with Vallejo acrylics. I chose this because my research showed the triangle in this orientation to be the alchemical symbol for fire.
